Our story
At RAH SHIT, we create more than clothing—we craft stories, honor individuality, and celebrate the beauty of self-expression. Founded by Rah in the heart of Little Bangladesh, Los Angeles, our brand is rooted in this vibrant neighborhood, where we also produce all of our pieces. The space where we create our garments is the same one his father used to build his community, further connecting our work to the legacy of unity and cultural pride that he established.
Our work begins with craftsmanship. Every piece is thoughtfully designed and brought to life by local artisans who share our commitment to quality and ethical practices. When possible, we incorporate upcycled materials such as sarees, vintage textiles, and deadstock fabrics, transforming them into garments that are both unique and intentional. Our sarees are sourced with care, often from family, friends, or aunties who run small businesses selling sarees on the side. We also source from local mosques and ashrams, ensuring that 100% of what we pay goes directly toward supporting their programs. The ashrams support elderly individuals and orphaned children at their sister ashrams in Nepal, providing them with care and resources.

We tailor your experience.

Community is central to everything we do. We proudly partner with people of color and small businesses, weaving a network of creativity and collaboration. Many of our pieces are customizable, offering a canvas for individuality and self-expression. Whether it’s a bold statement piece or a refined staple, our designs resonate with the wearer, telling their story through every stitch.
RAH SHIT stands for conscious design, thoughtful production, and the celebration of diversity. By embracing slow fashion and ethical practices, we’re crafting a brand that prioritizes intention over excess. Our roots inform our work, and our values guide our decisions, blending sustainability, culture, and artistry to redefine what luxury can be.
This is who we are and what we do. RAH SHIT—a brand born in Little Bangladesh, made for the world.
